Stanza One
செத்தபின் நேர்முகத் தீர்ப்பளிப்பு
மன்றத்தில் கடும் பகற் பொழுதில்,
பெருமுகில் போல் காலக் கணக்கன்
பிறப்புகளைக் கண்காணிப்பு
Departed to the judgment,
A mighty afternoon;
Great clouds like ushers leaning,
Creation looking on.
Stanza Two
உடல் தசை அர்ப்பணிப்பு, நிராகரிப்பு
உடம்பில்லா ஆத்மாவின் துவக்கம்.
இம்மை, மறுமை நம்புவோர் பிரிந்து
ஆத்மாவைத் தனித்து உடல் நீங்குவது.
The flesh surrendered, cancelled
The bodiless begun;
Two worlds, like audiences, disperse
And leave the soul alone.
